“Dark money” groups

Women for America First, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit “dark money” group, played a

central role in securing the permit for the January 6th rally. Their primary funding

came from a substantial $300,000 donation from Publix supermarket heir

Julie Jenkins Fancelli.  The rally’s list of organizers included Rule of Law Trust and

Turning Point, two dark money groups. Their involvement underscored the

extensive network of support behind the event.
